SARAH Russi, 30, was already in a relationship when rockstar Violent J, 51, (otherwise known as Joe Bruce) from the Insane Clown Posse slid into her DMs, telling her she was his ‘favourite Instagram girl’. Once she and her ex split, the pair hit it off and after a month of chatting, Joe flew to Miami to spend a few days with Sarah. Joe Told Truy: "I was on Instagram flipping through and I would see all these hotties. I was single in my life, just looking at hotties all day, and she was one of my top two favourite hotties." Sarah took note of Joe because of his blue verification check mark when he popped up in her messages. Her relationship status didn't deter him, "come on man, let’s keep it real, the Duke was on his way to town like a 90-megaton freight train," he said. "I was like, 'This is mine now'. I just put my claim on it, you know what I mean? I was like this is my new real estate, I’m moving in." Their 21-year age gap doesn’t bother them and they do regular couple things like bowling, watching YouTube videos and grabbing dinner together. Sarah has now moved to Michigan to live with Joe full-time. For Sarah, dating someone older than her isn’t strange. She has always been attracted to older guys and her preferable age is 50 plus. Online, Sarah is often criticised for her relationship with Joe. People say that she has "daddy issues", that the relationship is "fake for publicity" and often accuse Sarah of only being with Joe for his money. She explained: "The first time I posted a photo of me and him on Facebook, it got over 1000 comments. A lot of the criticism that we’ve gotten is because of the age difference and because of who he is." She read through trolling comments, "This guy wrote 'Freaks of nature and sick if you ask me'. 'Get with someone your own age.' 'If this is real, it’s disgusting'." One commenter even joked it was "such a heartwarming father-daughter pic." Nevertheless, the criticism doesn't interfere with Sarah's feelings: "Nothing that anybody said made me think that he was a bad guy." The couple have had to work through boundary issues within the relationship, "he likes to go to strip clubs, and I know he doesn’t go to hit on the women," Sarah said. Joking, Joe retorted: "I go for the food." Expanding that: "Me and the boys, we get out of a concert, it’s midnight. We go to strip clubs, that’s just where we go. I’m a clown, I’m unconventional. But she’s learning to be OK with it and I’m doing the same." For Joe, Sarah's career choice as an OnlyFans content creator has brought up jealousy issues. "I’m all about OnlyFans, let me be clear about that. A chance to make money, I’m all about it. But when it’s your woman, it just gets real suspect, all that direct communication," he said. In the episode, Joe's long-time best friend Rudy comes over to meet Sarah for the first time and speak about how the pair will bring their lifestyles together. Joe suspects he may have issues with Sarah's explicit modelling: "Rudy is controversial in every way, shape or form. That’s not always in a good way though, let me be honest. He ain’t gonna like what she’s doing. He’s old school." Rudy raised his doubts about their pairing: "I know Joe Bruce. When he gives his all, he gives his all 100%. So if he has to give his all to someone else who’s showing her all, that’s gonna be kind of difficult. I’m just a little worried that Joe might be the flavour of the month."
