Gavin McInnes is a Canadian writer and provocateur who had cofounded the magazine Voice of Montreal (later VICE) in 1994. Gavin helped define “hipster” culture of the early 2000s, and he was a strong influence on the magazine’s vulgar humour, biting tone, and conscious rejection of political correctness.

Once VICE Media had forged a corporate relationship with communications giant Viacom ties between McInnes and VICE were soon severed over what Gavin called “creative differences.”

Since his departure from VICE Media Gavin has worked with various media and advertising companies such as Infowars, Fox News’ Red Eye, The Greg Gutfeld Show, The Sean Hannity Show, Rebel Media, Rooster and more.

He published a book titled “How to Piss in Public” in 2012. He has also starred in and directed a documentary titled The Brotherhood of the Traveling Rants, about his tour as an occasional stand-up comedian. He also starred in in an independent film titled "How to be a Man".

Gavin has always courted controversy with his slapstick humour and his views on immigration, Islam, feminism, transgenderism, and pretty much anything the woke political left advocates.

Gavin left his position as chief creative officer at Rooster magazine after penning an article titled “Transphobia is Perfectly Natural".

In 2016 Gavin founded the Proud Boys, a male only club that eventually turned into a real, present and opposing force to the likes of far left radical street terrorists Antifa.

Since founding the mufti ethnic group known as Proud Boys he has been labelled as "far right", "neo fascist" and a "Nazi", for opposing the radical excesses of the political far left and for his comedic style.
