The Prehistoric Monster GODZILLA Was Supposed To Kill

Tokyo SOS had Kamoebas lose a fatal fight with Gojira while Mothra and Kiryu fought in the wider plot. But originally a Jurassic creature was supposed to be the kaiju to die. The only sequel in the Millenium series and the sequel to AGAINST MECHAGODZILLA had a pretty cool cameo planned.
