Welcome to TIME PRINTER where we explore the remarkable events of TIME.
Today, we bring you a momentous occasion in human history: the First Moon Landing that mission was successful what was once thought impossible.
It was a feat of engineering and human courage that captured the imagination of people around the world.

Apollo 11 was a mission by the United States that sent people to the Moon.
The astronauts were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
They landed on the Moon on July 20, 1969, and Armstrong was the first person to step onto the Moon's surface about 6 hours later. Aldrin joined him a little while later.
They explored the area for a couple of hours before going back to their spacecraft.
They collected about 47.5 pounds (21.5 kg) of moon rocks to bring back to Earth.
Meanwhile, Michael Collins stayed in the spacecraft orbiting the Moon.
Armstrong and Aldrin spent about 21 hours on the Moon before returning to their spacecraft.
