Detained soldier's family hopeful for his release

TMJ4 News has learned that Pvt. Travis King, the American soldier who sprinted across North Korea's heavily fortified border, used to live in Racine, Wisconsin, and his family still lives there, according to a man identifying as King's brother. A man who identifies himself as King's brother told TMJ4 News that on the condition of anonymity. The brother said King's family lives in Racine and that he used to live in Racine. The Racine Unified Chief of Schools, Jodi Bloyer, confirmed King graduated from Washington Park High School in 2020.
