It only takes a moment for your life to turn upside-down. It can happen when you least expect it to and it can’t be reversed. You would just watch while it unveils in front of your eyes, not being able to do anything about it. That is, unless you are this supermom! A mother’s impulse to love and protect her child appears to be hard-wired into her brain. Motherhood is considered to be an innate instinct that drives women to protect and care for their children. A mother naturally knows how to care for and protect her children. These words summarize the concept of what is known as the maternal instinct. For humans the unique and individualized mother’s instinct is often a force to reckon with.

When a woman becomes a mother she somehow taps into a psychic and connected power to understand the intricate details of another human. In this video, the maternal instinct of one mom is what has actually helped her daughter not to be abducted while she was standing near the door at one local store. This horrifying event took place in Victorville, CA, USA on July 1, 2016. A mother had just walked into a local store with her two children, one was attached to her hip while the other, a little girl was standing near the door and looking at something on the wall. In a flash, someone pushed an arm through the open front door and grabbed the little girl. They dragged her through the door onto the streets but luckily and to our great relief, the mother quickly realized that someone’s trying to harm her little girl and rushed after them.

She managed to get a hold of her daughter all the while she held the little toddler on her hip. The store patrons quickly caught on to what was happening and ran after the attacker. This is what the owner Miguel Macias had to say about it all: "This tragedy happened one day in our store at bright day light. It was an attempt of kidnapping." The statistics are really discouraging. A statistic from 2001 says that 840,279 people (adults and children) were reported missing to the FBI's National Crime Information Center and every 40 seconds in the United States, a child becomes missing or is abducted with about 74 percent of the victims of non family child abduction being girls.

In a society so advanced the instinctive qualities of a mother are still often overlooked or thought of as excessive worry or paranoia. Imagine bringing your baby in to the doctor. No fever, no wounds, no illness that can be diagnosed. But as a mother, you just know that something is wrong. It might be written off as colic or some other infant problem – yet still at night you lie awake with a nagging sense that something is just not right. Usually and eventually you find out you are right. What did you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below.
