Many clinicians don’t get the chance to learn about their patients lives.
But a start-up in the US called MemoryWell is hiring professional writers to create short biographies, or 'memory wells', for hospital patients and care home residents.
At one care facility in Maine, residents say has it has greatly improved their wellbeing - and staff say it has helped them understand the needs and memories of Dementia patients.
