In an address to the chamber’s floor Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said he believes both sides of the aisle could pass the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act before Congress adjourns for its month-long August recess. “We have a lot of work to do before we get there, but we're on track to get it done,” said Sen. Schumer. “And we have every reason in the world to finish the NDAA bill quickly, because there's a lot both sides can celebrate in this year's bill.”
