Admiral John Aquilino, head of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, told NBC Wednesday that American officials have not made contact with North Korea to discuss the American soldier believed to be in their custody after crossing the border. US and South Korean officials have confirmed Travis King, a Private Second Class soldier, “willfully and without authorization” ran across the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea Tuesday while with a tour group.
