On March 18th, 1990, America's largest art heist took place. Two thieves dressed as cops tied up the security guards at the Isabel Stewart Gardner museum and stole 13 pieces of art. Experts value their haul at around $600 million in today's dollars. Even though many suspects were questioned, to this day, nobody has ever been charged and not one single item has been recovered. There is currently a $10 million dollar reward for any information leading to the recovery of the stolen items.
