WRIGHT MOVE Scott Wright nearing Rangers exit as Turkish Super Lig outfit agree fee for Light Blues star.

SCOTT WRIGHT is on the verge of moving to Turkey to join Pendikspor.

The Istanbul-based side were promoted to the Super Lig through the play-offs last season so are tooling up for a tilt at the top flight.

And they have reached a £500,000 agreement with Rangers to buy the 25-year-old ex-Aberdeen attacker.

Wright has slipped down the pecking order at Ibrox so has been targeted as one of the players Michael Beale wants to move on in this window.

He had been linked with a switch to Saudi Arabia with ex-boss Steven Gerrard, but Turkey now looks to be his likely destination.
