💢 Ukraine uses cluster ammunition on Russian positions 💢

As you can see they are dispersed and inaccurate by design.
They work well against large groups of concentrated and unprotected troops, but are useless against entrenched platoon size fighting units spread across a large front.
Russia has promised a specific response to their usage.
The US gave these to Ukraine because they are out of everything else.
Military experts are surprised at their use because of their ineffectiveness, yet they invite and legitimise a robust response from Russia .
Pretty stupid on the whole.
