What is going down in GA with the ruling class… you need to pay attention. There is absolutely no possible way that if Donald Trump is president of the United States it is not a good thing for Brian Kemp to run for Senate in 2026. Everyone is putting themselves in place for their own advances and screw saving the country.

All along Brian Kemp and Brad Raffensperger have always spouted that the elections in GA have always been safe. Chris Carr has never launched an investigation into the fraud of the 2020 election. Brian Kemp is going to continue to say that he doesn’t have the authority just as he has been claiming the constitution doesn’t give him the authority.
If convicted in GA, what are Trump’s chances of being pardoned or paroled? Will the former president serve jail time? Some of this depends on the seriousness of the charge, most of the things considered involve fraud and attempting to overturn an election and are felonies under GA law. Felony convictions in GA generally require at least a one-year sentence, but there is such a thing as felony probation. The judge overseeing the case could release Trump with several conditions attached, including unannounced home visits, which may impede his ability to live out of state. The judge would have to believe that Trump no longer represents a threat, and Trump’s continuing social media rants make that case harder to make. Trump could get a pardon. InGA the Gov, sometimes Trump loyalist Brian Kemp, doesn’t have the power to issue pardons. That power resides within the GA State Board of Pardons and Paroles, a five member board of appointees by the Gov. The current Board has two black members, all of who have experience as prosecutors in GA. The same board has the opportunity to parole Trump. There are written guidelines based on the type of crime, age of the criminal, criminal history, other pending charges against the applicant, and likelihood to reoffend. The board normally uses those criteria to determine what percentage of one’s sentence they have to serve. Trump has no criminal history and is old, which works in his favor. The board must be willfully blind to other federal and state investigations against Trump and his ongoing behavior. Parole would also require Trump to admit guilt and apologize unless there was a preponderance of evidence exonerating him. The GA board does have the discretionary power to throw out all the guidelines, so even a guilty verdict doesn’t mean he’ll serve jail time.
