Protests against financial bill turn violent in Kenya

Protests continue against the rise in the cost of living in Kenya and against President William Ruto’s finance bill.

Last week, Christian and Muslim leaders in the country urged Ruto to repeal the bill, which implements new taxes and is extremely unpopular among the population.
