LIVE: Mass protest in Tel Aviv Israel against government judicial reforms

Live from Tel Aviv on Tuesday, July 18, as protesters rally against the government’s plan to reform the judicial system. Opponents of the changes, which give lawmakers increased powers over the Supreme Court and the appointment of judges, have been demonstrating since the proposals were first announced in January.

Protests are set to take place at dozens of locations around the country on Tuesday in the run-up to a Knesset vote on a bill that would bar the courts from overturning government decisions they deem unreasonable.
