Yoels, a recent Cuban immigrant, reacts to going into an American market for the first time since leaving communist cuba. It’s a very emotional experience for him and it’s one that captured so many attention when we filmed and released this in 2021. Many more Cubans have come since then thanks to recent economic and political situation and they all react the same. Our story even though filmed last year is a reaction many have today from communist cuba where the embargo is only an excuse for the dictatorships inefficiencies in a soil rich island.
