Rinse rice 4 times or more until water comes out clear. Use clean, sterilized jars. 1/2 tsp salt in jars, 1Tbsp any preferred seasoning(s.) 1/2 cup of rice only, because rice expands.
Fill with water to 1" headspace. Clean lids, rims and flats. Place in canner, put lid on. Vent 10 minutes after you get a steady stream. Then add weight (15 psi for where I live = over 1000 feet above sea level.) Process 15 minutes.
