It’s #SDCC2023! #sandiegocomiccon is better than any other day of the year in my book and I cannot wait to experience it with you! What does it mean in relation to San Diego Comic-Con? In retrospect, absolutely nothing. Because apparently a lot of folks have forgotten this is a COMIC CONVENTION. Not a Movie Convention or a TV Convention… COMIC! Plus, I genuinely do not understand how some folks who attend, spend nearly half the Con standing in lines to experience a 45 minute panel they could have watched later on YouTube. Yes, I understand the benefit of breathing the same air as Robert Downey Jr.. But c’mon, in 2023, why are we still idolizing celebrities who have ZERO idea what the real world is all about? Obviously that’s a road we can go down in the future, but for now, have a listen as we discuss what SDCC will be like WITHOUT the major studio heads… Personally I’m ecstatic because it means more folks will be coming to the Con to experience what it has always been, a place for all fandoms to come together as one and share their passions for the fictional stories created by individuals that had an idea and went for it!
