Documents obtained by ex-UKIP leader Nigel Farage show the bank's reputational risk committee "exited" him after considering his views on issues such as Brexit.

His friendship with President Trump and his views on the gay community were named among many reasons he was not “compatible with Coutts.”

The document contains 39 mentions of Trump.

Farage said, “The fact that I support Donald Trump is part of this charge sheet.”
