Türkiye and Qatar signed a bilateral agreement to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Temim bin Hamed Al Thani at Lusail Palace in Doha, the capital of Qatar, where he paid an official visit. Following the bilateral meeting, President Erdoğan and Emir of Qatar Al Thani signed a bilateral agreement on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Turkey and the State of Qatar. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Republic of Turkey by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and on behalf of Qatar by Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
