Adam Weishaupt - Founder of the Illuminati

Adam Weishaupt (lived 1748 to 1830) was born in Ingolstadt. He attended a Jesuit school, and later became a professor at Ingolstadt university, but mitigated by the influence the Jesuits still exerted. He founded the Illuminati, which sought to recruit young people and worked to undermine the influence of traditional religion on society.
