Hannah the happy hippo enjoys life after her rescue from the exotic pet trade

Hannah Shirley is a pygmy hippo who is a very lucky lady. At 42, she is the oldest pygmy hippo currently alive in the United States. She was rescued from the exotic pet trade and ever since moving to The Fund for Animals Wildlife Center she's been one pampered hippo. She has a 1,000 gallon swimming pool, a sprinkler to play in, enrichment activities like bobbing for apples, and yummy treats which is mostly organic produce donated from farmers from around San Diego County.
