This is how earth was saved once

Did you know that there is only one time when all the countries in the world agreed on one thing? Yes, it happened only once. And do you know what it was? In 1980, scientists discovered a hole in the ozone layer of the Earth. This hole was created by pollution, primarily by a gas called CFC. This harmful gas was responsible for the complete destruction of the ozone layer. To address this problem, around 200 countries came together and decided to halt the production and use of this gas. The effect was tremendous, as our ozone layer started to heal
