It’s someone who is familiar with the Holy Spirit but is not fascinated with Him.

It’s someone who is passive toward the Holy Spirit and lacks passion for the Holy Spirit.

It’s someone who seems to have all the answers and has no questions, or curiosity.

It’s someone who is happy with explaining everything but has no experience with the Holy Spirit.

Just like the religious leaders when Jesus was born.

2. Being a fan of the Holy Spirit is meeting Him without developing an ongoing relationship with Him.

Fans of the Holy Spirit are the followers of God’s word.
Fans of the Holy Spirit see God’s word as a map to be followed to encounter the Holy Spirit.

Fans of the Holy Spirit have an encounter with the Holy Spirit

3. Being a friend of the Holy Spirit is cultivating a relationship with the Holy Spirit by walking in obedience to Him.

An encounter with the Holy Spirit may be small because it’s never meant to be the only one.

An encounter with the Holy Spirit changes you. Encounters with the Holy Spirit change the world.

Obedience is the price of friendship with the Holy Spirit.

You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. John 15:14

Fans hear the Holy Spirit, friends heed the Holy Spirit.
