How many CPU cores do you need for gaming - Test Benchmark

We tested how many physical cores are needed for some of the most demanding games. Before testing, we turned off virtual cores (threads) because they bring almost no performance during gaming and in some games they even worsen performance. Tested with AMD Ryzen 7 2700 at 3.2GHz. Keep in mind that older processors provide less performance per gigahertz than newer ones. 2vs 4 vs 6 vs 8 cores test benchmark in several games.
