Boris Johnson's Final Speech as Prime Minister at Number 10 Downing Street

Boris Johnson makes his final speech outside Number 10 Downing Street as the UK's Prime Minister on the 6th September 2022 after meeting Queen Elizabeth II to step down.

The former Mayor of London officially became the Prime Minister on the 24th July 2019 after defeating Jeremy Hunt in the Conservative party leadership race.

Boris Johnson was succeeded by Liz Truss after she became the new leader of the Conservative Party on the 5th September 2022.
