A school is a place of learning and discovery. As a child, I remember running home and resetting what I learned that day in the classroom. A school is a place of excitement, showing how the universe works and how beautiful life is. A school is a place of learning, and this should stimulate the mind and show diversity to educate show should open minds and doors. To educate should mean to open doors to the mind. Here is the question should parents have a say in what children are being taught? Should they be allowed to opt out of up their children out of certain classes because their ideas don't support family ideals? Does the education system have the right to penalize? When we don't agree with everything being taught in the school. The answer is shocking.

Parents have lost the right to change what schools teach and the curriculum is handed down by the government. Even if you just decide to pay tuition and place your child in a private school, the government still directs what your child will learn. Schools should be current with society and the issues surrounding it. One of those is identity. I have been asking the question about identity as a person would I be the same person, male or female? For myself, after years of self-discovery, I came to say gender doesn't matter. I am an androgynous person. For those who want to know, I don't care about gender or gender stereotypes. Thus, because of how I dress, people ask about my gender and I'm gender-neutral. I don't consider myself to even identify with being non-binary time binary, we'll put a limiting label to who I am. Should this self-discovery be taught by the schools?

Gender identity is being taught in schools because the government decided it should be with or without regard from parents. They use terms and graphics developed by some corporate power. While it's okay for children to discover who they want to love from. Our society should be looking to release the limitation of labels and branding people. The way our system there is a goal to check as many boxes as we can so we gain advantages. The reality is that we don’t need an advantage and we need to see each first as a human being. This is how nature works and our system fights against this natural way. When society stops building these systems we will find the freedom to be human in all of the natural dimensions. Should schools be guiding children into a transgender process without the knowledge of parents? That is the question of the podcast episode below.
