I get into a bathtub with new spearfishing gear. Why? Because when new fishing gear arrives I get way too excited. Whether it's spearfishing gear or fishing gear or even hunting gear. I have to put it on and jump into the bathtub.

I love spearfishing and I love fishing, but when new gear arrives it's game over. I need to try the new gear. To be fair, it is good to test new gear before going on your spearfishing trip or fishing trip. Especially when new gear arrives for a hunting trip, you better test it out so you don't miss that deer!

My favorite place to test new spearfishing gear is in the bathtub. The great thing about spearfishing in bathtub is that there's no sharks so that's pretty cool. But if you have a big speargun in bathtub you better find a really big bathtub.
