In this catch and cook fishing video:

Dan and I originally wanted to run offshore out of Key Largo but it was a little windy and I have car issues so we decide to stay bayside. Looks like we will look for bait in the key largo bay. I don't fish much in the Key Largo bayside.

Our main goal is to find pilchard. Pilchards are a type of bait fish that do great in the Key Largo Bay and offshore. So let's find this bait! With live bait we are surely going to catch a nice mangrove snapper.

I have some cheese so I want to make a cheesy mangrove snapper catch and cook. This is part 1 of my fishing episode to catch snapper and catch bait. How to catch bait in key largo is still something I am learning. But everyday i'm a little better at catching live bait in the florida keys...

Fishing with live bait in the key largo bayside is our main goal but we have a hard time to find the pilchard. Looks like I won't be fishing with live bait today and will fish cut bait here in the key largo sound. Blackwater sound to be specific.

We do find the pinfish which are great live baits. A big snapper will still eat that live bait. Despite catching many small mangrove snapper in the key largo bay it is still a beautiful sunset. In the next fishing episode we will come back and do the snapper catch and cook so no worries. One catch n cook coming your way!

I hope you can use these videos to learn how to catch mangrove snapper. Basically chum, use cut or live bait and free line it back in your chum slick is how to catch snapper. Bingo! Time to catch fish so we can cook fish.
