Bangkok to Lamphun By Train - 2nd Class 421 Baht - New Bang Sue Grand Station - Thailand 2023

We take a trip on the express train #51 from the new Bang Sue Grand Station (Krung Thep Amphawa Station) in Bangkok to Lamphun (south of Chiang Mai). I show you what to expect on the train and around the new station with where to buy tickets as well as food options in the new station. The cost is very affordable and it’s easy to travel by train. The trip is 2nd class carriage with fan at a price of 421 Baht. The seats recline much like on airplane making it much more comfortable than 3rd class.

Lamphun is a small town that is 20 minutes south of the terminal station of Chiang Mai. It’s a great day trip from there or worth a short visit on its own to see the historical sites and museums.
