Fish Tartare Recipe:
1-2 cups raw or lightly smoked fish
1 cup chopped potatoes (boiled)
1/4 of cucumber (peeled, seeded and diced)
1/4 cup red bell pepper (diced)
Parsley and or Cilantro (to taster)
1 tbs lemon zest
1/2 cup mayo
Salt and Pepper to taste

Tartare Topping Sauce Recipe:
Spoonful of Horseradish
Juice from 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup Sour Cream
Cayenne pepper (to taste)
Pinch of Cilantro or Parsley
* Garnish with Avocado Slices

This is a MUST TRY fish tartare recipe. This tartare recipe would probably work best with tuna but I use yellowtail snapper in this how to make fish tartare catch n cook episode on the South Florida Fishing Channel. Oh did I mention I have a badly smoking boat! haha, maybe time to get a new engine?

This catch n cook starts with first trying to catch fish. Actually the first step is starting the smoking engine. It's a major boat fail! I have a dead batter and hand crank the engine with a rope causing a bad smoking boat. Don't worry we'll be ok. It's a smoking boat fail, that's for sure! And epic fail...

We catch n cook some yellowtail snapper. We caught red grouper fishing but they were out of season! We also catch mutton snapper but they were too small. However we catch 2 yellowtail snapper for this catch n cook and i'm going to show you the best fish tartare recipe ever! This is how to make fish tartare!

This is a must try fish recipe using snapper. Tuna tartare would also be good vs snapper tartare. I think almost any fish would be good to make tartare. What do YOU think is the best fish to make tartare with?

After we get the boat problems sorted and no longer have a smoking boat (we turned the epic boat fail into a win) we fully focus on the catch n cook! And this turns into a MUST TRY catch n cook. I will make fish tartare again real soon as this is my favorite fish tartare recipe out there! The best recipe in the world! I ate that whole bowl after the catch n cook camera stopped rolling! I was a little skeptical at first making a snapper tartare recipe as most people I know use tuna, but using smoked fish in the fish tartare recipe was delicious! The tartare tasted much better than the previous smoking boat fail!
