We walk out to the docks. The underwater lights have not been working so we didn't have much light to work with. There were some dock lights and we also used the lights on our phones.

This dock is on the bayside of key largo. Not on the Atlantic side, but I know people that have caught lots of shrimp off their docks. Especially docks closer to an inlet.

It's best to look for shrimp during a strong tide, but we were out on the dock at slack tide and still saw some shrimp and blue crabs so it was game on! We catch each shrimp and blue crab one by one, soon it ads up and this is starting to look like a pretty good catch n cook.

We wanted a late night snack after some drinks so any amount of shrimp and blue crab would have made us happy. It was a fun night on the docks. When we get back to the apartment we clean the blue crabs. Catch clean and cook time.

After steaming crabs and shrimp we eat half of the crabs and the rest we put the crab meat in a bowl and mix it into some mac n cheese. I add more cheese to the crab meat mac n cheese and put it in the over for extra melted catch and cook goodness. Another awesome catch clean cook.
