In this video:
We know the weather won't be perfect but we run offshore from Key Largo with the plans of fishing the islamorada humps. About halfway to the humps we begin to troll. I put out some scented trolling chuggers, starting with a white and blue one.

It doesn't take but a few minutes before the scented trolling lures get hit by a mahi. Boom the first mahi mahi is legal size and on the boat, that is how trolling should always be! We start fishing again in the same area hoping to catch another mahi. This is already looking like a catch n cook episode!

We get closer to the islamorada humps and the waves really begin to pick up. Gotta love that florida weather. About an hour passes without anymore fish but then boom! Another mahi mahi on the blue and white offshore scented lure.

I'm really starting to like using scented trolling lures. Who would have thought! I gotta thank MyAnchorUp for introducing these to me. At this point the waves are kicking are butt and i'm tired of Florida pounding me around so I decide it's time to bottom fish for mutton snapper!

We begin to bottom fish off the reefs edge in about 130ft of water. The current brings us back to the reefs edge so our bottom fishing drifts start in 130 ft and end in 60 ft. I can mark snapper on my depth finder and already excited.

Boom! Mutton Snapper on! This is some great key largo bottom fishing for mutton snapper. This snapper will turn into some fish burritos later during the catch and cook. We keep drifting for mutton snapper another hour before calling it a day.
