2 firsts in this video! Catching Peacock bass and a peacock bass catch and cook! Also, car troubles. Classic fishing day!

This fishing video is the first time I'm going out to target peacock bass. I have done bass fishing in the past, but I'm not a pro bass fisher. yet...

For my first time peacock bass fishing I'm pretty happy it ended with a peacock bass catch and cook. And if you're wondering if bass is any good to eat in a catch n cook then stay tuned and watch this episode to the end!

After my range rover won't start and we have some car problems we run up to Dons bait and tackle in homestead where we pick up some live shiners and some artificial lures for peacock bass fishing.

So you want to know how to catch peacock bass then I would tell you to grab live shiners and head to almost any pond or canal in South Florida and you should be able to catch peacock bass.

I had no idea how to catch peacock bass and I managed to pull off a bass catch and cook. I feel pretty good about that! I think I will increase my peacock bass fishing skills over the next few years and become a true professional bass fisherman when it's too windy to go offshore fishing.

I would do a peacock bass catch and cook again as I think peacock bass tastes great! Leave a comment on what you think... how does peacock bass taste? Let me know! I think it tastes like most neutral whitefish like tilapia. A firm nice white meat.
