In this fishing episode we are trolling for grouper. I will show you the trolling plug I use and how to troll for grouper. We catch some monster grouper! But that wasn't the main plan when we left key largo to go offshore fishing in the contender.

First we anchor and do some yellowtail snapper fishing. Caitlyn catches a mutton snapper. You can count on the contender boat to catch fish! We get some snapper on the boat and it's time to go trolling for fish.

We start trolling in 40-80ft of water and I put down a big plug because this is how you troll for grouper. And boy is there a monster grouper waiting to be caught! But before we start trolling for grouper it's time to get a hair cut.

Unfortunatly... I get a hair cut with a dull bait knife. It's going to hurt... And it's a mullet hair cut. This is going to be a fun new years. We catch a monster grouper. Actually. We catch 2 monster black grouper. This is going to be an epic black grouper catch n cook. We will be frying the grouper.

This fishing trip out of Key Largo we catch yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper, mackerel, trigger fish and grouper. This is how to troll for grouper! And now it's time to go back to key largo shore for the catch n cook part of this fishing episode on the South Florida Fishing Channel!
