In this fishing episode I go paddleboard fishing in the Florida Indian River. I fish from the paddle board and even explore some islands on the Indian River here in Vero Beach Florida.

In this paddle board fishing video:

I launch my paddleboard from a little slip here in Vero Beach. There are many places where to launch a paddle board to get into the Florida Indian River Lagoon.

Paddleboard fishing is a super fun activity and super relaxing. You can enjoy the nature of the Indian River Lagoon or wherever it may be that you are paddle board fishing. Since you're river fishing you can also use light fishing tackle which is a boatload of fun!

On this trip I saw snook, ladyfish, snapper and sea trout. Spotted Sea Trout I believe they are called here in the Indian River. I had a ton of fun fishing from a paddleboard in this episode that I think I will have to do it again. Those snook have me wanting to come back.

Fishing from a paddle board as you could tell from this video was a little hard with the wind, but I will bring a paddleboard anchor next time to fix the issue of being blown into the mangroves and docks.

I read that the snapper in the river are usually smaller but the closer you get to the inlet the bigger the snapper get. I have the Sebastian Inlet north of my location in Vero Beach and the Fort Pierce Inlet south of me from Vero Beach so there's some great fishing options.

The sea trout I was catching were also small but I KNOW there's big spotted sea trout in this area so I will be back again paddleboard fishing to catch those!
