Don't be fooled by the title Cooking something I've always hated, this is a super good catch and cook episode. This is my first time cooking Grunt and Grits! I have always hated grits, but for the first time I decide to make my own grits. It's a Grits and Grunts catch and cook fishing episode on the South Florida Fishing Channel!

I start this fishing episode here in Key Largo, which is the first island in the Florida keys. We are fishing in key largo. The key largo patch reef fishing is where we start this offshore fishing episode. I will show you how to catch grunts. We also catch yellowtail snapper fishing the patch reefs.

We didn't plan on fishing for grunts, but you never know what sort of catch and cook will happen on the South Florida Fishing Channel. In this case it's a Grunt and Grits catching and cook full of fishing memes. Who know fishing in florida could get meme wild!

Grunt fishing isn't usually something I target or set out to do when planning my fishing trip, but it was a slow day of fishing and we found the grunts. I use a yellowtail hook which is a super good fishing rig when you're trying to figure out how to catch fish. Especially when fishing for things with smaller mouths like grunts and snapper.

As soon as I catch a grunt fishing I knew this would we a grits and grunts catch and cook episode. Grunts and Grits must be a south florida dish, I don't think i've ever seen it anywhere else. So... I've always hated grits but it's time I cook grits for the first time. Yea, I show you how to cook grits. And then I show you how to cook grunts. This is my grits and grunts recipe.

Tomorrow I am going offshore fishing so stay tuned for that fishing episode! I already know it's going to be a crazy catch n cook fishing episode. This was a great day of patch reef fishing in key largo. I woke up not thinking I would cook grunt, but I went to sleep happy and looking forward to grunt fishing in Florida again.
