The South Florida Fishing Channel girlfriend and I had some fun last night in Key Largo, Florida. We were up late but that did not stop us from our key largo spearfishing trip. I woke up ready to film a spearfishing catch and cook.

Remember, when spearfishing key largo you have to be north or south of the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. So keep that in mind when spearfishing grouper or any fish! In todays case, spearfishing black grouper!

The best thing about spearfishing in key largo is that the water is almost always clear! It's my favorite spearfishing in Florida spot. It also turns out this key largo fishing spot was also the favorite of a big black grouper. This black grouper had no idea he would turn into a grouper catch clean and cook fishing episode on the South Florida Fishing Channel.

There are many grouper in key largo. As a matter of fact there are grouper in florida all over the place! And spearfishing black grouper is a fun and refreshing way to kick off any catch and cook. Some of you may think this black grouper is a Nassau grouper or gag grouper, but please look up the patters and fins of these fish before you leave a nasty comment and mis-profiling my big black grouper haha.
