Deep dropping florida keys can be an exciting thrill and catch nice fish for the catch and cook table later.

For deep dropping we use the South Florida Fishing Channel chicken rig and end up catching snowy grouper, toro snapper and blue tilefish. All great fish for a fishing catch and cook.

Deep dropping in the Florida Keys is a great way to catch fish after a long day of swordfishing or fishing for mahi. It's simple fun and even a little relaxing. Deep drop some baits and wait for a bite and let the electric reel bring you your catch n cook fish.

We originally started fishing for swordfish at floyds wall. The north end of floyds wall has swordfish. Then we went all the way to the islamorada humps where we went deep dropping for grouper.

While deep dropping the islamorada humps we end up catching a massive toro snapper! And we use this toro snapper for the toro snapper catch and cook part of the episode.
