This fishing trip takes place out of Crystal River which is on the Gulf side of Florida just north of Tampa. Captain Robert from Mermaid Tales Fishing Charters shows us how to catch redfish and then I show you how to cook redfish!

Crystal River fishing is a very new environment to me because where you launch the boat it's freshwater and as you move through the channel it turns into saltwater. You can do freshwater fishing and saltwater fishing all on the same trip! We target some slot tournament sized redfish and also target spotted sea trout for this catch clean and cook.
