Have you ever bent a spear or broke a speargun? It happens a lot when shooting bigger fish because if they swim into anything that's easily enough force to bend your shaft and leave you with a broke spear.

Spoiled Alert: We do shoot a hogfish and fillet him. So it's a catch clean and cook. And then I take this hogfish and make Pecan Encrusted Fillets YUMMY!
