6. Love is Fuel of Vision

Sharing from our leadership talk that we did to our life group leaders.

Mission is the heart of the vision. Vision runs on mission.

If we copy Jesus’ patter without his passion we will have a program at best and problems at worse.
Religion will replace relationship.
Discipline will replace delight.
Guilt will replace joy.
People will become projects.

LOVE GOD.
God wants relationship but without love we end up with religion. Religion runs on rules, relationship lives on love. God is to be loved, not used. Let us use prayer to get to God.
Intimacy is the key to fruitfulness. Fruitfulness is the key to multiplication. Intimacy is me getting into the heart of God. Fruitfulness is me getting the heart of God.

LOVE PEOPLE.
People are to be loved, not used. We are who we are either because someone loved us or because someone didn’t
We love God because he loved us We love others as we love ourselves. (Not as they love us)

Loving others is a fruit, not work.
Fruit is who I am, not what I do.
Fruit follows intimacy.
Lack of love toward people has to be solved at the way I perceive God.

We can provide lessons, but only you can provide love.
Groups are not for revelations but for relationships.
Love others is not striving but surrender.
If you work u will not be but do.
Love is not taught but caught
Love is not to be explained but experienced.

Practical:
1. Devotional life is about heart, mind and soul more than prayer, reading and worship.
2. Discipleship is about relationships more than meetings.
3. When love is the goal, meeting will not be a problem.
4. Let’s not give up on those who gave up on God.
5. What does love require of me?
