GOP presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy lists Senators Cruz, Lee as possible Supreme Court picks

Vivek Ramaswamy, a biotech entrepreneur and Republican candidate for the presidency, has taken a notable step by releasing a list of 16 individuals he would consider nominating to the U.S. Supreme Court or federal appellate courts if elected.

He becomes the first candidate in the Republican field to itemize his potential judicial appointments.

Ramaswamy’s list includes notable figures such as Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah as potential nominees for the Supreme Court, the Associated Press reported.

Additionally, he would consider elevating federal judges who have previously invalidated President Joe Biden’s airplane mask mandate and the FDA’s long-standing approval of the abortion pill.
