Magic Fountain in Barcelona, Spain

Magic Fountain (in Spanish for. Fuente Mágica) was established on the occasion of the World Exhibition in Barcelona, which was organized in 1929. Their designer is a prominent architect Carles Buigas. Pool fountain with a diameter of about 50 m falls more than 3 million liters of water. The fountain is made up of more than 3,500 nozzles ejecting water and nearly 5,000 colorful lamps. During the construction of this unique facility employed as many as 3,000 workers!

Great performance of "water, light and day" can be seen several times a week (depending on season) and it lasts 30 minutes. The shows are free and are accompanied by different music, from classical to contemporary hits.
