Dino Tomic is a Croatian tattoo artist and also an art pedagogue who is now based in Norway. He has now turned his eye to a new medium. This medium is using salt in the creation of his amazing works of art.

Only by applying the most obvious ingredient, the tattoo artist Dino Tomic has attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the largest salt mandala. This feat, originally used as an exercise in patience and focus by Tibetan monks, requires a steady hand and careful breathing to ensure that each grain of salt is placed in the right spot. As you can imagine, it certainly takes a great deal of time, up to several hours in fact, as well as lots of patience to create such a masterpiece. The world’s largest salt-based mandala project took Tomic 3 days, 25 hours in total, at the University College of Southeast Norway. However, as you could see in the video at the top of the page – it was absolutely worth, and literally, every grain of energy. Amazing!

You can follow Dino Tomic on most social media platforms on the Internet and enjoy more works of this talented Croatian artist. He shows preference for gripping realistic drawings themed on horror and sci-fi elements, or dynamic and forceful realistic models. Appart from this, he is an amazingly talented and sought for tattoo artist. We hope you like his works as much as we did! Enjoy!
