Eating Home Cooked Szechuan Food in Chengdu

Family gatherings are a great time to eat delicious food, and I was lucky enough to be able to taste home cooked Szechuan food at a friend's birthday party in Chengdu.

If you're in Szechuan province, whether Chengdu or Chongqing, or any small town, there is a lot of food you have to try. There are so many dishes, but one of my favourite dishes that I love eating is the Szechuan spicy boiled fish (水煮鱼). It is just so delicious and spicy and numbing that it's so hard to resist!

Out of all the dishes (Szechuan spicy boiled fish, chicken feet, sweet and sour cabbage, devils taro spicy duck, Bangbangji, and Beijing duck) the Szechuan spicy boiled fish was the best! This episode was a lot of fun to make because it was different from the usual eating food on the street type video that I make (not that I don't love eating on the street!)
