He should be able to find it. It's located near Sichuan's largest spice market, Wukuaishi, where you can buy Sichuan peppercorns in bulk, and sample some of China's best tea!

This fly restaurant was fully packed and offered some of the tastiest food I've tried in Chengdu. There's also no menu, you just grab the food off of a table or from a guy that puts it on the back of a bicycle!
