Ait-Ben-Haddou, Morocco

Ait-Ben-Haddou is fortified city (Ksar) in Ouarzazate province of Morocco. Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site as "striking example of the architecture of southern Morocco." and "an extraordinary ensemble of buildings offering a complete panorama of pre-Saharan earthen construction techniques." Many movies have been shot on site, like 'Lawrence of Arabia', 'Gladiator', 'The Mummy', 'The Last Temptation of Christ', 'Kundun', 'Alexander', 'Kingdom of Heaven', 'Babel', 'Game of Thrones', etc.
