Stunning footage shows Mercury passing in front of the Sun

For more than seven hours on May 9th, 2016, Mercury is visible as a tiny black dot crossing the face of the sun. This rare event, which is known as a "transit," happens only slightly more than once a decade. Credit to 'NASA' and the 'Solar Dynamics Observatory Satellite'.
