American Bald Eagle Eats Cat

Driving through the neighborhood we saw An American Bald Eagle having lunch on the side of the road. Silvester was on the menu. Seems a bit ironic since cats are usually the ones eating birds. While I hear their diet is mainly fish Eagles apparently won't pass up a little free domesticated feline. Being the largest bird of prey sitting at the top of the food chain this Eagle seemed indifferent to our presence and put on quite a show for the small crowd who gathered to watch. Maybe it was unaware that Eagles had been taken off the endangered species list. The Eagle was working on this cat for nearly an hour before flying off with a full stomach.
